more of... Christmas Break

Daddy & Jacque
Paul in his long johns . . .so cute~
Christmas mornings, we are in our pajamas, hair messy, but big smiles. Four of these, Danielle took for us. Josiah is focusing on a toy. Jacque had put lip gloss on her cheeks. Dad {as usual} is reading instructions and putting toys together for the kids. Mom is in her usual spot... between the babies in their bouncy chairs. . . and Danielle opening a special {Fleur de lis} present from us.
This was the cutest thing... they were crawling around on the floor and baby
Paul rested his head on his twin sister, Hannah.
Paul took the kids to City Park over the break. They went to the Botanical Gardens to see the lights, through Story Land Park, and then to the Amusement Park to enjoy the rides.

We all went on a drive on afternoon all over the greater New Orleans area... We started down Lake Pontchartrain toward New Orleans.
It must have been a perfect day to go sailing.

These are 3 pelicans flying low and coasting in a row together.
They are so majestic.

Here is a view of New Orleans and the Crescent City Connection

{bridge over the Mississippi}
A great form of transportation for the tourists.
this is Canal Street.
The Street car on Canal.

Small streets of Vieux Carre
Danielle took a picture of this drawing on a large dumpster.
That is the Saints chant... WhoDat!!
I liked the picture Danielle took of this Street Car on St. Charles St. in Uptown.
I like the ad on the side that says "GUMBO SHOP"
Me & Danielle saw this van. How original is this, with the Mardi Gras colors.
