Josiah starts school on Tuesday, Kindergarten...poor kid has had 3 years of preschool, he is so ready for this. Jacque starts her first year of preschool, she needs this, she is such a mama's girl, always at my side, I think she will love it.
Our summer was really blah. It had to be one of the most boring in all my history. No vacation, hardly even went anywhere, except physical therapy, and giving the kids away to my wonderful friends who would be kind enough to take them off my hands for a few hours. I have to remember that sometimes life isn't exactly how we picture it to be and that we just have to do the best that we can.
Having twins has been hard on all of us. Having school out when it is so hot is difficult too. But, these babies were a big surprise, Josiah and Jacque were planned very carefully and we timed the conception and pregnancy and delivery very carefully, so these twins kind of threw us for a loop. However, we have never felt so blessed. They have been a light in our home, Josiah and Jacque love them so much, we have so much fun with Baby Paul and Hannah. I always wanted my children to have siblings, Josiah to have a brother, and Jacque to have a sister. We are truly blessed.
There will be more summers, time to get away and have fun. This summer is finally over. My children won't remember sitting around the house day after day.
And who knows, with the peek of hurricane season at our feet, we just might be taking a road trip...or two... uhhh
