G O O D B Y E . . .

We won't have to worry about getting stuck at home, or not being able to get home because our street is flooded. Or hunting for our trash cans that sailed off into neighboring yards. Or picking up other people's trash that floated into our yards.
We'll look back at all the things that were "normal" to us in New Orleans and laugh!

Our last time playing at NEW ORLEANS CITY PARK

Packing was interesting with the twins at my side. They thoroughly enjoyed playing around, on top, and inside all the boxes!!

We appreciate ALL the help we received from our loving friends/ward members, and colleagues from Paul's school. We couldn't have got it all done without your help. Thank you to all my friends and sisters that helped me pack and watched our children so we could get it all finished in time. We will miss you & if there is anything you guys ever need, we would be happy to help!

We barely fit everything into the moving truck, I really can't believe we got it all in.

Even the YM/YW came over and helped out. Thank you, thank you!

Getting all hitched and ready to roll!

Leonard did great in the van with me. The vet gave us some sedatives, to help him endure the traveling. He has moved with us from Utah to Cleveland to New Orleans along with a couple hurricane evacuations and back to Utah. What a great kitty!

Pauly & Hannah are all buckled and ready for the long, long, long, haul.

We put a movie on for Josiah, for the van ride... already into it.

Jacque is riding in the big moving truck with her Daddy.

We left bright and early that day. It was hard to leave and drive away.

There we go....

New Orleans grew on us. It will ALWAYS be a happy memory. Our friends and the people there are what made living in a, battered city in a swamp, a wonderful chapter in our lives.

Nicole, you are so creative! I love all the pictures- your kids are beautiful! Good luck with Utah (I am sooo jealous!). I will be in S. Utah for 3 weeks, so I will call you when I get back for some much needed help with blogging. Love ya!
